CLUBS AND SOCIETIES

	Steep Cricket Club play league and friendly matches most weekends during the summer. Their ground is at the lower end of Church Road, between the Tennis Club and the Harrow Inn.
	Steep Lawn Tennis Club, founded in 1906, and affiliated to the LTA, has 6 hard courts and 2 synthetic grass courts, 6 of which are floodlit for all-year-round play.
	Steep Flower Show takes place annually in August. Full details, including entry forms and classes are available via their page on this website.

	The Ashford Hangers Preservation Committee has been in existence for over 10 years and pledges to work with Hampshire County Council and other bodies to ensure that the Hangers stay 'unspoiled' for future generations to enjoy.
	The Edward Thomas Fellowship keeps alive the memory of local poet Edward Thomas. They stage an annual walk usually around the anniversary of his birth and this is advertised on their website.
	Two Women's Institute Groups meet monthly in Steep, an afternoon group and an evening group. Details of forthcoming meetings and contact information are on the 'what's on' page.
